The Mary Beth Williams Foundation has announced that State Senator Mark Obenshain of Harrisonburg will serve as keynote speaker for the Foundation’s annual event.
Obenshain is a prominent member of the Virginia Senate’s Agriculture Committee. He represents Rappahannock County, part of Rockingham County, the City of Harrisonburg, Page County and Shenandoah County.
This year’s event will be held at the home of Richard and Jeannie McNear, in Gid Brown Hollow, on Saturday, May 6 at 4:30 p.m. The entire community is invited. The theme of the event will be the “future of farming in Rappahannock.”
Obenshain, as a member of the Agriculture Committee, is expected to address this and other topics of interest.
