Tom G. Taylor
Profession: General contractor/partner in a beef farm.
How long have you lived in Rappahannock County and the Piedmont district?
Lifetime resident of the county and Piedmont District.
Have you ever held public office? No.
If you become a Supervisor, what are your plans for the Piedmont District and Rappahannock County?
To serve the residents of the Piedmont District through hard work, honesty and integrity, while working with the Supervisors for the betterment of our county.
What is the most important issue for Rappahannock County right now, and what would you do about it if appointed?
The most important issue for Rappahannock is its future. I would work closely with the current supervisors to maintain the county’s well being, (i.e. sufficient fire/police), its rural setting, (protecting its environment and farmlands) and the school system (which is the future of our children and grandchildren).
