PUBLIC HEARING
KINDLY TAKE NOTICE that the Town Council of the Town of Washington, Virginia will hold a public hearing on the 10th day of May, 2006, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall of Washington, Virginia to discuss, consider and approve the sale 4.00 acres owned by the Town of Washington, being a portion of the Avon Hall property, a portion of Tax Map#20A-1-115, to Rappahannock County for the purchase price of $400,000.00 and the abandonment of any easements in favor of the Town. The property to be sold is zoned Governmental Services.
Copies of the survey plat of the 4.00 acres and all other information pertaining to the proposed sale of the 4.00 acre parcel are on file at the Town Hall and are available for inspection during normal business hours.
All are invited to attend the public hearing at the time and place aforesaid and present their views.
The hearing is being held in a public facility believed to be accessible to persons with disabilities. Any person with questions on the accessibility to the facility should contact the Town Clerk by telephone at 540-675-3128.
