Thomas P. Tupper

Washington resident

Thomas Pearson Tupper of Washington, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Thursday, April 20.

He was bom Feb. 8,1930 in Melrose, Massachusetts.

Mr. Tupper retired after 23 years of military service, including a tour in Vietnam.

He was a Life member in the VFW Post 1860 and The Vietnam Veterans of America and an Active member in The American Legion Post 0053.

Mr. Tupper is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Marguerite “Rita” Tupper of Washington, loving father to Richard Wayland Tupper and Michael Wayland Tupper of Sperryville, Barbara Tupper Sharp of Warren County, Laura Tupper Burke and Ann Tupper Bearden both of Arlington.

Addition survivors include his sister Martha Tupper Webster of Saunderstown, Rhode Island; and nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America Inc. (1224 M St. N.W. Washington DC 20005) Memorial Fund.
