Town elections
Tuesday is vote day in the Town of Washington. Current Town Council members are running unopposed and that would suggest a sure win tor all of them. There’s always the possibility of a huge write-in campaign but that is unlikely. The fact that there doesn’t appear to be any opposition to the present slate would also suggest either voter apathy or more likely voter approval. With the wastewater treatment plant issue overflowing into the county’s mindset these days, the Town ' ouncil will need the support of its constituents. Jf you’re out and about, vote.
