Those are just some of the headlines of some two dozen or more exhibits at the Expo, which opens at 9 a.m. and goes until after the sun goes down.
The Expo will feature local, healthy foods done by the woman famous for Sperryville’s Rae’s Deli . Rae Gaedke will be busy in the kitchen at the Expo, serving grape-almond chicken salad, limeade, ginger iced tea, bratwurst, asparagus and other local vegetables, Portobello burgers and, best of all, her prized cookies. Everything Rae does is nutritious and - make no mistake - from scratch.
The Piedmont Alternative Energy Expo is sponsored by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, Besides Rae, many other folks in Rappahannock and across Virginia are working on exhibits, indoors and outside, too, that will be featured at the Expo.
