Spring concert
and art show
Wakefield Country Day School visitors were recently treated to both listening and visual delights, courtesy of the lower school students. First, was the Annual Art Reception, where guests toured the school’s halls to admire artwork created by the students, and then they were treated to each class’s music talents at the “Music Gives Wings to the Wind” spring concert directed by Evelyn Oyster.
The art show is the culmination of ninth months of artistic endeavors by lower school students, with each child displaying at least one piece of his or her artwork at the reception. Under the leadership and guidance of art
