Third Annual Courage Cup

polo match set for June

Tickets on Sale Now

The Third Annual Courage Cup charity polo match will be held on June 17, 2006, at Great Meadow Polo Club in The Plains, Virginia.

Benefiting the Work to Ride charity, this event originated as a way to bring young professionals in Washington, D.C., together with the polo community for a good cause, and a good time. Now, The Courage Cup has become a summer social tradition.

Ticket options vary from sideline tailgate spots close to the action to private group boxes elevated from the field for a great view. Tickets may also be purchased for access to the VIP Golden Mallet Tent hosted by Capitol File Magazine, which includes food and open bar.

This year’s Courage Cup will be the inaugural game on the new fields of the Great Meadow Polo Club. The party will get started when the tailgates start in the afternoon and go into the evening with a trophy and check presentation following the match.

Jointly, Great Meadow will also be hosting Chiefs of Diplomatic Missions and their families at the Ambassadors’ Cup Polo Match. This game will feature celebrities Mathias Hermes and Salvatore Ferragamo, who will be playing with the international teams Competing for the Chief of Protocol Trophy.

Tickets may be purchased at www.CourageCup.org.
