this special little boy.
With each day it grows, it will stand as a symbol of the strength and courage and the love that was found in him.
Johnny wasn’t given much of a chance to live when he was bom with microcephalus, cerebral palsy, Dandy-Walker syndrome and other associated maladies.
But his inner spirit and determination proved very powerful and he not only lived but thrived and attended school.
School was, of course, important for Johnny for the same reasons as for other children. He always had a smile on his face.
He was a teacher. He taught the kids more them they ever dreamed of.
Johnny touched everyone he met in one way or another.
His parents, Michelle and John Jenkins, have set up two Memorial Scholarship Funds in their son’s name, to honor the memory of him.
