This “Historical Sampler” is a crucial fundraiser to help provide financial resources to maintain the viability of the Society in its effort to collect, preserve and share its treasure trove of local history.
Tickets and directions
Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Rappahannock Historical Society’s office and library at 328 Gay Street in Little Washington, or at the door. Tickets are $10 for adults ($15.00 at the door), and $5.00 for children 6 to 12 . For further information, contact the Society’s office at 540-675-1163. Meadow Green Farm at 210 Popham’s Ford Road in Slate Mills can be reached by taking scenic Route 231 (South) from Sperryville towards Madison. Turn left on Slate Mills Road and go about 1.6 miles to Popham’s Ford Road. Turn nght and drive one mile to Meadow Green. As you approach the house. Old Rag looms straight ahead.
