the fiscal 06/07 budget. According to the Crom corporation, the town’s contractor, construction on the new reservoir is ahead of schedule, and should be completed by the fall.
The public hearing phase of the meeting elicited a few questions but no objections from the public. Comments were confined to questions about the accuracy of the town’s projections for the cost of their new wastewater system and the expected income from Avon Hall.
The town council will vote on their proposed budget at the next regular town council meeting on June 14.
