Two local ladies are due some cheers and applause for all of their hard work and effort to help raise funds for cancer research. Carolyn Leake and Stephanie Crawford have worked very hard over the past several weeks to organize their Relay for Life teams and to hold several events to raise the money they will be turning in on the big night when all of the teams gather at the school for the actual walk itself. These two ladies have stayed the course and haven’t lost faith even when turn outs were less than what was needed or when team members were unable to give as much time as was really needed.
