Thelma Mae Brady Crane, 76, of Flint Hill passed away on Saturday, July 15, at Fauquier Hospital.
Mrs. Crane was born Aug. 22, 1929, in Flint Hill, VA, daughter of the late Moffett Hilbert Brady, Sr. and Alice Marie Lillard Brady.
She retired as a bookkeeper from Prince George’s Co. public school system in Maryland. Mrs. Crane was a member of the Flint hill United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Methodist Women’s Group. She also participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
Mrs. Crane is survived by‘ her husband of 53 years Ernest Samuel Crane of Flint Hill; one son Ernest Michael Crane and his wife Tina of Bowie, MD; one daughter Catherine Susan Crane Cieslak and her husband Ken of Ladysmith.
Additional survivors include three brothers Moffett H. Brady, Jr. of Flint Hill, Charles Brady of Warrenton, and Richard Brady of Flint Hill; four sisters Louise McCulloch of Flint Hill, Irene Hamilton of High Point, NC, Elizabeth Bennett of Flint
