Rappahannock County. He was raised by the late Jack and Clara Woodard of Washington, VA.

He had worked as a certified nursing assistant at Warrenton Overlook and Oak Springs in Warrenton and had also worked at Food Lion at Bealeton. For the past six years he had been a stay-athome Dad. He was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church at Bristersburg, VA.

Mr. Walker enjoyed latch hooking and crocheting and loved to sing.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years- Teresa Lynne Walker; his son- Thomas Athey Walker, Jr.;three sisters- Sharon Bright of Sperryville, Monica 'Rimer of Luray and Maureen Kaiser of Washington, VA; two brothersWilliam Walker of Madison, VA and Wayne Walker of New York and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held July 25 at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton by Rev. Pat Olsen. Interment was followed in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
