Guitarist Frank Vignola has long been a firm favorite of jazz fans at the Theatre at Washington, Virginia. He recently teamed up with his old friend and colleague Joe Ascione, the well known percussionist and drummer, to form the “Frank & Joe Show.” They have twice brought their “merry band of New York music makers” to the Theatre, and will do so again this summer, on August 6 with a different lineup: Vinnie Raniolo will join them on bass and guitar, and Rich Zukor will be playing drums, percussion and bass.
