LINEMAN
Progressive utility company in Culpeper, VA has a job opening for the position of Lineman. Candidate must have a High School diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma). Additional electrical courses are desirable. Must have completed an Apprentice Lineman Development Program or have equivalent job training. Must be able to interpret system maps, staking sheets and other work order procedures required of the job. Must have an effective knowledge of construction specifications and National Electric Safety Code requirements pertaining to line construction. Must be able to climb and perform assigned duties under normal conditions and be able to operate all equipment pertaining to line work. Must have working knowledge with personal computers. Must maintain a valid commercial driver's license.
