Over at Belle Meade
It doesn’t long if you five in this county and have young children before you discover the camps at Belle Meade School and in summer, particularly, their swimming programs.
Children can take a dip in their large pond or learn how to use the diving board in their in ground pool when they aren’t hiking or engaged in a craft activity.
Summer’s not over yet and there’s still room if you’d like your 6 to 13-year-old to attend one of their two-week sessions starting July 31 and August 14. The cost is $325 per camper and $300 for siblings. Transportation is provided for these two-week sessions and financial aid is available. There’s a one-week half-day camp starting August 28 for the 4 to 8-year-old set for $125.00.
Go to their website at www.bellemeade.net/ camp or phone Susan Hoffman at (540) 9879748.
Enjoy these sanguine scenes of summer and perhaps they will bring back some memories.
