Treasurer's Office is recruiting for a full time cashier for the Sterling Office. Duties include receiving and processing tax payments and other departmental revenue, utilizing a Windows based cashiering system, balancing a cash drawer, providing outstanding customer service when working with the public and Other departments, deadlines, tax rates, and general County information. Must have the ability to operate standard office machines, and a working knowledge of both mainframe computer systems and MS Office. Requires a high school diploma and two years general clerical experience. Strong customer service skills required. Previous experience in banking preferred. Spanish/ English bilingual a plus. This position requires working occasional overtime during tax deadlines. Criminal history and credit record check will be conducted on successful candidate. Responsibilities include assuming maintenance of GIS data layers: manage G1S special projects including design, programming and digitizing of data; provide spatial analysis and mapping; and report preparation. Requires thorough knowledge of Arclnfo and ArcView software, knowledge of principles and methods of quality control, general knowledge of cartographic principles and procedures, ability to design databases and procedures for user applications. Requires ability to communicate effectively. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Cartography, Computer Science or related field and at least 3 years experience in GIS services.
