It’s a tough call deciding just what makes the evening so special. Is it the opportunity to taste the newest wines from Rappahannock’s celebrated wineries? Or, the chance to try delectable dishes made possible through the donation of the finest meats, produce and other food products by Rappahannock’s farms, food specialty shops and restaurants - all prepared and served under the guidance and direction of Mary Arthur and Terri Lehman along with the Rappahannock High School Culinary Arts Class?
No doubt, one of the most popular events of the evening is the live auction. Each year, a few select items and one-of-akind experiences are auctioned to the spirited crowd assembled for the evening. Once again, all proceeds support Headwaters’ enriching outreach efforts, such as minigrants for teachers, the Farmto-Table program, the Starfish Mentoring Program, Summer Enrichment Workshops for children, the RCPS Complimentary Staff Development Fund and Next Step—The Rappahannock College & Career Access Program, among others.
