Andrew Haley is very excited about the potential that the Washington, D.C. art scene has for the artists with whom we are all so familiar at the Long View Gallery in Sperryville.
He aftd his wife Suzanne Zylonis have partnered with William Waybourn and opened a second location at 1302 Ninth Street , NW, in Washington, D.C.
Many of Rappahannock’s favorite artists, who are represented there, attended a party for artists on July 21st. The gallery director, Bill Smith III, looks forward to connecting this group of artists with the Logan/ Dupont art scene.
Andrew Haley, director of the Sperryville gallery, values relationship and community in this two location endeavor:
“Long View takes a different approach to showing works and selling to collectors. The Gallery will avoid brief “shows” of a body of work, choosing instead to establish long term relationships with artists while at the same time creating a comfortable, friendly atmosphere for art lovers and collectors to visit...we are about connecting artists to communities.”
The grand opening will be in September.
