One year ago this week, I started writing for The Rappahannock News. It’s been a good year, and I’ve learned a lot. I could take this space to reminisce about it all, and this would be a nice column about about fecal matter dwelling bacteria, cows going to school, and motorcycle crashes. Combined, those images do create a hilarious mental picture, but they’re all old news around here anyway.
Instead, I could talk about myself, and this column would be all about Fork Union Military Academy (I hated it) and William & Mary ( I loved it) and my Ultimate Fighting career (I don’t have one). But I won’t, because that’s boring even with lame jokes inserted.
