Once again, the joint session of the Town Planning Commission and the Architectural Review Board (ARB) spent their Monday meeting ploughing through the Historic District Guidelines.
These joint sessions allow members to discuss the proposed guidelines with Cheryl Shepard of Millennium Preservation Services and propose refinements or changes to the document.
This continues the process of providing the Tbwn of Washington with a comprehensive guide to preserve the town’s historic character.
The council continued to examine in detail by beginning discussion on the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings.
