However, that same strange, cantankerous, Rappahannock mix of people also leads to a lot of incredible stories. There are stories of theft, of kids finally graduating, of snoring seeing eye dogs, country-spanning bike rides, and county budgets, and too many others to list.

Now, I am relatively new to this game. On the comic Look scale of journalistic experience, I am Jimmy Olsen rather than J. Jonah Jameson. That said,as I understand it, my job is to get as close as I possibly can to providing everyone with all the information they need to know about everything all the time. And obviously, it’s an impossible goal.

So I try to communicate as much of those many stories as I can that will fit around the ads in twenty some pages of newsprint. Ideally, I get more
