Two New

Administrators

Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) recently announced the appointment of two new administrators who joined LFCC this month.

Kathleen Quinlan Johnson, a Front Royal resident, joins the College as the vice president of financial and administrative services. Johnson’s responsibilities in this role include serving as a member of the College’s administrative team and providing leadership for the business, information technology, facilities and security units. Prior to joining LFCC, Johnson was the director of finance for the Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering at George Mason University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in decision sciences and a master’s degree in business administration from Mason.

Ross Seligman, a Warrenton resident, joins the College as the dean of learning at the Fauquier Campus. In this capacity, Seligman will manage instructional services at the Fauquier Campus. This includes supervising all full- and part-time faculty and managing the curriculum for the Fauquier Campus. Before joining LFCC, Seligman served as a psychology instructor and chair of the Social Sciences Department at Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Ore. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Occidental College and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. Seligman has also completed doctoral coursework and qualifying exams at Claremont Graduate University in the area of social and quantitative psychology.
