“Ninety eight percent of shooting is mental,” Reed said as he demonstrated his Olympic air pistol. “You have to remain completely calm; you can’t let anything affect you.”
Jenkins and the US tetrathlon team placed third in the international exchange match. “Our first performance in Lexington wasn’t as good as we would have liked,” said Jenkins, “but this was our teams first year competing with the international teams. We were a little nervous.”
