And, the little bucket of paint with the tiny paintbrush that they sent when I upgraded from a monochrome to a color monitor, has just about dried up, so I think it is time for a new monitor, as well. And, to get anything at all out of my speakers, I have to insert an eight track cassette.
And, don’t laugh. That’s the way they get you. You can’t just plug in a few new parts. Oh, no, that won’t work with your old mother board, whatever that is. As for the power unit, I suppose it is time to get rid of the gerbils in the roller cage and get one that plugs into the wall. And it just goes on and on from there, and the price goes up and up.
You have seen those ads on the back of magazines, about how you can get a new computer for $299.00.
Don’t you believe that. What they will send you for that much money is a framed picture of that computer. Don’t expect a whole lot more. I’m telling you, it just grows like chickweed in the garden, and there is little you can do but give in and let them have their way with you.
