the burials and plot ownership, I agree there is a problem. In time to come, I hope this matter can be resolved.
Some may say we have to go with the times and to some extent we will.
I like to believe in something like lasting impression.
In these days and times we should do our best to hold on to what we hold dear to our hearts, and that is the memories of the ones that are buried in the Washington Masonic Cemetery, not the “marble orchard.”
We are indeed fortunate to have the Washington Masonic cemetery, a resting place for those that have gone on.
It has been maintained and beautified by people who donated their time and equipment over the years.
Let’s keep in mind that it is a cemetery only not an orchard.
I want to commend Jed Duvall on the article which I found interesting but felt that if he'd given more thought, he would have chosen a different headline.
