Paintings by Amy Mann

Amy Mann brings her colorful landscape and still life oil paintings to little Washington May 31 through June 24 at The Packing Shed Gallery with an artist’s reception Sunday, June 3, 2:005:00 p.m.

"I work directly from life, and my style is representational,’ said Mann, "lire challenge and joy of painting and drawing for me is translating the threedimensional world onto the two-dimensional picture plane. Taking into account and reacting to the changing tight and conditions make each painting a fresh and spontaneous event.*

Ms. Mann received a BFA in Painting from the Philadelphia College of Art She is a longtime resident of Centreville, Virginia, and grew up in Fairfax.
