For the first time the team of Jesse Palmer and Steven Butler produced a balsa bridge that was destructively tested. Even their structure held 16 pounds, they placed sixth in the state.
Vickers congratulated all of the members for traveling to Hampton stating, “everyone that works on the state level shows a level of commitment and skill.”
“I really enjoyed the trip a lot, I give it five stars,” said sixth grader Case Kramer.
Seventh grader Adam Carter encouraged others to join in the fun of these competitions and this year’s rookie John Mello commented, “This being my first year in TSA, I had a lot of fun. The experience helped round out wha$ we did in class.”
