and homecoming
Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church in Washington will be having their Homecoming and special anniversary celebration honoring 35 years of ministry for their pastor, John K. Burke on Sunday, June 3, starting at 10 a.m. with Rev. Don McCann, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church, Kingsport, TN., and at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. Vinton Williams, pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church, Warrenton. Lunch will be served following the morning services. The Rochester Family will be singing for both services. Everyone is welcome to attend to help Pastor John Burke celebrate this special anniversary.
Condolences go out to the family of David Batchelder of Washington and to Susan Munday of Warrenton on the loss of their daughter, Lisa Sharon Batchelder, who passed away on May 21. Susan is the granddaughter of Jane and the late Roger Batchelder of Washington. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.
