Taking third
Rappahannock won third in the state in the TSA Technology Bowl. The three member team individually takes an exam to become one of the top ten schools in on-site finals. The high school team won third in the state, beating Sherando High School in the first round, losing to Brookville High and eventually beating Ocean Lakes by a score of 60 to -5.
Vickers likes to tell his colleagues at school, “TSA takes regular kids, gets them to pay for registration, ride a school bus 5 horns, put on a suit and tie, to go take a test in a motel. And they are all happy to do it.”
