Therapy reading program

The Waggm' Hearts Therapy Dog group has a reading program that they offer free of charge to children of school age. 'Books & Barks Reading Partners Program* will be offering free reading sessions beginning in January with a 'Meet & Greet the Reading Dogs’. Books & Barks provides a great opportunity for children to practice their reading skills, work on reading assignments or just enjoy reading to a canine friend. The program utilizes registered therapy dog teams who are trained and tested for health, safety and temperament. Our Books & Barks teams offer children an irresistible opportunity to polish their reading skills in a fun. motivating way and helps children improve their self esteem and confidence.
