Joseph Wayne Potter, 41, of Huntly, passed away Dec 21, at his sister’s home alter a short illness.
Bora October 7, 1966 in Warrenton, Virginia, he was the son of Neal Wayne Potter and Shirley Cooke Potter. On April 27.2002 at Long Branch in Millwood, Virginia, he married the former Miphelle Loftus Taylor, who survives.
Known to his family and friends sis “Joe Potter,” he worked as a welder for Morrow Equipment for over 15 years. His family had a saying, “If there was something broke, and Joe Potter couldn’t fix it, then it just couldn’t be repaired.”
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Michael D. Stewart, and two sisters, Nancy Lee Dumiak and Carol Ann Hare.
Besides his mother, Shirley Stewart of Manassas Park; his father Neal Wayne Hitter of Manassas, and loving wife of five years, Michelle Hitter of Huntly, he is survived by one son, Kyle Taylor of Front Royal; and one daughter, Amanda Taylor of Front Royal;
