The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad has operated with the support of neighboring squads for several months now and we are most grateful. It is the intention of the SVRS to focus on rebuilding of the team of trained personnel. EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) and CPR training will be held in Sperryville.. .no need to travel! CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training will be open to all members of the community.
The EMT training course, starting on February 12 in Sperryville, is free to those who become members, make a commitment to work with the squad and can lead to a career in emergency medicine. Remember that other support positions need to be filled, including mechanical skills, administrative support and driving the rescue vehicles.
