We've been home at our
beautiful house in Rappuhannock Co, VA for the last two months. It’s been a very rich time—full of beauty, friends, love and challenges. Julie's cancer was spreading so we decided to start an oral chemotherapy just before Christmas. While she has been quite weak, her spirits, gratitude and courage are stronger than ever. The calm and quiet of our home allows her to really focus on her healing and she feels that she is starting to heal.
We also sturted working with hospice. Not because we are giving up, but because we . fully expect to “fail" hospice and live to celebrate many more New Year’s. They do provide a broad range of help and services that makes it all easier and more comfortable for Julie.
