Lyle Miller seeded 10 acres of orchard land to Ladino to provide a cover crop and swme pasture. Says Mr. Miller, “As an orchard cover crop Ladino is the best I have ever tried, as a hog pasture; well last year I selected four of the top pigs from a litter of eight to keep near the house to be fed for butchering purposes, the other four were put on the Ladino along with 2 brbod sows. By fall the pigs that had run on the Ladino were ^o much better than the others I selected three of the four to butcher. The sows each raised a litter of eight pigs which were the best I have ever had on the place. Another thing I like about Ladino is that it conies hack quicker than sweet or any other clover I have ever had."
