things done in 4-H Club and Home Demonstration clubs during the year. To the Home Demonstration and 4-H clubs it served as more or less an “Achievement Day-’ of what had been done during the year.

■One of the federation goals of the Home Demonstration cljubs of the county in '4b was “Rural Youth.’' During the year the clubs Started a “Clothing Bank,” which helped a lot' in’ clothing some of the needy children in the county. Clothing was gathered up both in the spring and fall by the clubs for the above purposes. Some very nice things were donated.

Health was another Federation goal of the Home Demonstration Clubs. Through the encouragement of the “Health Goal” chairman of each club 2/3 of the Home Demonstration members attended the x-ray clinic held in the adjoining counties.

The big highlight in 4-H club work in 1949 was the large attendance of 4-H’ers from the county that attended camp. In comparison with other years such as: in 1947 there were (10) from the county that attended camp. In 1948 there were 19 that attended, and, in 1949 there were 34 that attended from the county. It is felt by the 4-H leaders and by the agent that such an experience, as camp, is good for the 4-H members, and, (that when they come back they seem to want to do bigger and better 4-H work
