According to a report from t'noffice of P. M. Browning Rea: Estate Brokers of Culpeper, the ^horse farm of Col. John Horner, near Crest Hilt about 41-. miles east of Flint- Hill, has been sold to Mr. and’ Mrs. Lionel E-lwin of Gunston, Maryland.
This property has an attractive residence and guest cottage as well as two horse barns and a closed exercise tract. Mr and Mrs. Elwin, who are horse breeders, plan to move to their new home immediately.
This property was previously owned by Sterling Larabee, an army officer, and at that time was known as the Larabee Kennels., Thp place is reached by timing right at Rector’s Store in Flint Hill on what is known as the Crest Hill road. V
According to reports, Col. Horner still owns the portion of land across the Rappahannock river from the horse farm which was sold to Mr. and Mrs. Elwin.
