these club members . . . they enjoyed themselves thoroughly, and brought back much valuable information to tlteir fellow club mates.
The county had the largest number of people attend the Institute of Rural Affairs in Blacksburg last summer that they have ever had. Nine attended, which were the following: Mrs. Jessie Rowzie of Washington; Mrs. Gilbert Updike of Washington; Mrs. W. H. Lyne of Sperryville; Mrs. Frank Cary 6f Flint Hill; Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Ramey of Slate Mills, and of course, the Home Agent and County Agent. This institute is tru'y a wonderful experience for anyone that attends. The ones that attend, always come back so enthused, and greatly aid in furthering a successful Home Demonstration program for this year.

Appointments
Roy Edgar Moser, Jr., native of Hyattsville, Md., and graduate of the University of Massachusetts, has been named associate Extension horticulturist at VPI.
He will work in food processing.
Another appointment announced this month is that of Daniel U. Livermore, who now is doing graduate work at VPI to the position of associate agricultural economist, effective March 16.
