Glee Club
Glee Club practice was held on Wednesday, February 1, with Miss Wood directing. Work was continued on “Fairest , L o r d Jesus,” and the group began work on Fred Waring’s Version of “The Battle Hymn of The Republic." The group is also learning to sing “We Pledge Allegiance.”

Better During January
The attendance at Sperryville High School was better than usual for the month of January. The primary grades with 102 pupils enrolled, had 97 G attendance; the elementary grades, with 104 enrolled had 96G attendance: and the high school, with 67 pupils enrolled had 94 G attendance. Mrs. Lawrence’s room and Mrs. Quaintance’s seventh grade each had 98 G attendance.
