With Sperryville
The WHS auditorium was crowded with enthusiastic supporters Friday night, when the Panthers had their replay with Sperryville. The Sperryville girls won 41-29. Barbara Brown was high pointer with 28 points, and Jo Ellen Worth of the Panthers with 19 points.
The Panther boys well made up for the slip of the girls. Edwin Scroggins and Warren Settle tied for high points with 14 points, which kept the Panthers well-in the lead during the entire game. At the finish Panthers 44, Sperryville 25.
The Panthers will meet Aldie Friday 10th at WHS,
