Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne and family were dinner guasts Sfunday of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Parish at Estes.
Miss N'ancy Moore, Miss Louise King, and Miss Charlotte Coates of Madison college, spent the week end at their homes in the county.
Mr. and Mrs. II. H. Aylor, Jr., -pent the week end with Mrs. Aylor’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Edwards, in Lynchbuijg.
Billy Williamson of Richmond spent the week end with his parents, Col. and Mrs. W. R. Williamson, at Woodville.
R. M. Johnson motored to University hospital Monday with Mrs. R. M. Johnson, who has been having trouble with her hip which she broke about a year ago. The doctor put her on crutches and she is to return to the hospital for an operation in a few weeks. Mrs. R. H. Carder accompanied the Johnsons to Charlottesville to visit an eye specialist. Her condition is much improved.
