The Washngton Home Demonstraton Club met at the Fire House, February 1. Mr. Peters, manager of the Charlottesville Singer Sewing Machine Co., and two women demonstrators, gave very excellent demonstrations on how to use the attachments to the Singer Sewing Machine. Everyone present said they gained so very much from the demonstration. After the demonstrations very delicious refreshments were served by the two hostesses, Mrs. Guy Burke and Mrs. Lester Burke.
The Belle Meade, Forest Grove, Reager, Washington Jr., Sperrvville Jr., and Amissville 4-H cli bs^ had their monthly meetings last week. The Belle Meade always does such an excellent job of conducting the business part of the meeting, that a recording was taken pf .it for the weekly Agricultural Program. ■ Jacob Sisk did a fine job of presiding over the meeting. This club sold six subscriptions for Rappahannock News, making $2.40 from the sales. The Forest Grove 4-H club was called to order by president -J-Ofifr--Scott, tilt.' secretary, Jvjhfi Corbin gave a report of the number of'subscriptions sold by the club. Money was taken up by the agent for sweat shirts, which are to be ordered this month. The Reager 4-H club is doing a fine job in their project work. Most all the girls have completed their projects thus far. The Washington Jr., 4-H club stenciled’table cloths and tea towels for their project this month. Becky Jones, Frances Walker, Mabel Hawkins, Betty Lou Rtuherford and Frances Atkins did a fine job of decorating their articles. It was re(See
