and Mrs. James Edward Swindler. He is a member of the National Honor Society, was awarded the school’s U. S. History medal and attended the Governor’s School for the Gifted in 1977. He is a semi-finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Other activities of Swindler include JV basketball, lettered two years in Varsity basketball, is a crew leader in KVG, and is president of both the Varsity Club and Senior Class. He plans to enter the University of Virginia in the fall in premedicine courses.
