Plans Trip
Wakefield School’s second, third, and fourth graders will leave Thursday for a two day trip to Richmond, Jamestown, and Williamsburg. In Richmond the group will tour the Capitol, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of the Confederacy, and St. John’s Church. The students will be shown through the Capitol by Sen. Edward Wiley, the great-uncle of fourth grader George Mullins of Front Royal. After spending the night in Richmond, the Wakefield group will travel to Jamestown and Williamsburg where they will spend the day sightseeing before returning home late Friday evening. The students will be accompanied by three teachers and five parent chaperones.
