Attorney Douglas Baumgardner assured the Planners that individual lot owners in the subdivision would have to comply with the county’s erosion and sedimentation control ordinance on any construction that involved 10,000 square feet or more of land disturbing activity. He added that Dawson planned to include* a subdivision covenant stating this requirement.

Baumgardner said that Dawson intended to add another covenant stipulating that lot owners may be assessed a maintenance fee not to exceed $200 per year for upkeep of the subdivision’s road. Dawson also will include a covenant to ensure that all lots will be open to fox hunting, Baumgardner noted.
