Washington Redskin Bill Brundige will be one of the guests of honor at a chicken barbeque dinner scheduled for Sunday, May 28, at 1 p.m. at the Rappahannock Recreation Center outside Washington. The dinner will kick off Rappahannock’s part of the fund raising campaign for the new 4-H Educational Center. The Center, which will serve youth from Rappahannock County and the rest of the Northern Virginia and Piedmont area, will be built on 229 acres just down the mountain from Chester Gap.
Congressman J. Kenneth Robinson and State Delegate George Beard will be the featured speakers at the barbeque dinner. Dee Dee Grant. Jeanette Beebe, Mike Atkins, Kelly Perdue and Kevin Perdue will provide musical entertainment during the afternoon.
Lt. GoverrtOf' Chuck' Robb has . been invited to the barbecue. However, he feared a previous engagement would prevent his appearance.
