Freeman
Richard Henry Freeman, 72, of White Post died Saturday, May 13, 1978, in Winchester Memorial Hospital. Services were held Wednesday at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in White Post, the Rev. Herman Tom conducting. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Son of the late Arthur and Tex Anna Porter Freeman, he was born June 21, 1905, in Rappahannock County.
Surviving with his widow, Katherine Lee Freeman, are a daughter, Margaret Lawson of White Post; a son, James Arthur Freeman Sr., of Double Toll Gate; a brother, Reuben Frefeman of Washington, Va.; and two sisters, Martha Freeman of Amissville and Rosie Freeman of Washington.
