A fund drive for an allpurpose court at the Rappahannock Recreation Center is still underway with a goal of $3000 set to be realized by June 24. The court can be used for volleyball, basketball and shuffleboard.
Plans and preparations for a community day to be held June 24 at the Center are still progressing and the climax of the day will be the awarding of numerous prizes. Among these is a cash prize of $100 given by Ray T. Cannon Realty, Eileen Day Realty, W. H. Lyne, Realtor, Rappalachian Homes, Roy Wheeler Realty, Panorama Realty, The Inn at Little Washington, Russell Insurance Agency, T. J. Pillar, Realtor and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Vest. _
Young people will be soliciting $1 donations for the court at the upcoming pointto-point races Saturday.
