Mrs. Mary Quaintance was hostess at dinner last Tuesday evening when her guests included Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead, Jr., Dr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, Mrs. Earl Edmonds of Huntly, Miss Mary Miller Wood of Washington and Mrs. Frances Thornton.

Mrs. Carson Johnson and Mrs. Jack Wayland spent Saturday with their sister, Mrs. C. S. Butler in Hagerstown, Md.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Meade of Charlottesville were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Johnston.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Brown, Kelly and Mike of Culpeper were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. Robert W. Brown.

Jimmy Swindler of the University of Virginia Medical School was a Friday overnight guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Swindler. Mrs. Swindler with Mrs. Lee Swindler and Mrs. Roy Swindler spent last Thursday in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Ruth Perkins accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sims of Hartsville, S.C. on a trip through the Pennsylvania countryside, Lake Erie and Niagara Falls.

Mr. W. W. Sanford of Orange, Mrs. R. E., Wood and Mrs. Mary Quaintance spent last Wednesday at Seven Corners.

Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Snellings of Baileys Crossroads were guests Wednesday of Mrs. Nina B. Brown.

Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Wayland and Mr. and Mrs. Don Bomberger attended the State Fair in Richmond on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser of Alexandria were Saturday guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown.

Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Bloomer and daughters, Judith Lynn and Janine spent the weekend in Nelson County.
